Senior DevOps Engineer – Data Consultancy

Data consultancy within a major agency network seeks a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of our cutting-edge, cloud-based platforms. In this hands-on ‘solutions’ based role role, you’ll work closely with technology leadership to uphold top-tier technology standards and work on projects across several global clients.

Strong expertise with the AWS stack is a must.

GCP and Azure are nice to have.
Experience across Terraform, AWS Secret manager, Lamtech, AWS Lambda, Datadog, understanding scaling in cloud environments, knowledge on containers and Jenkins
Building CI/CD pipelines

Salary to £90,000. Hybrid role with 3 days in the office p/w

What You’ll Do:

Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Manage Development, Test, and Production environments, ensuring stability, security, and best practices.
Drive CI/CD Excellence: Collaborate on CI/CD solutions and infrastructure requirements with teams across the globe.
Mentor & Guide: Coach DevOps engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure Operational Success: Lead automated deployments, secure pipelines, and implement continuous security measures.
Solve Complex Problems: Address operational issues, perform threat assessments, and improve the production environment.
Enhance Documentation: Ensure seamless documentation across JIRA, Confluence, and our TIO WIKI platform.

Ideal Skills:

Cloud Mastery: Expertise in AWS (IAM, VPC, Lambda, EKS, S3, EC2, etc.)
Infrastructure Knowledge: Proficient in Terraform, CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Scripting Savvy: Skilled with PowerShell, Python, and Bash; comfortable in Linux/Unix environments.
Data Enthusiast: Experience with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS Redshift a plus.
Security & Monitoring: Proficient with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog) and infrastructure security.

Bonus Points: Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure and passion for data-driven software!
