Head of Paid Media | Independent Digital Growth Agency | London Hybrid | £100K + Quarterly Bonus

Looking for a senior media leadership role at a high-growth, founder-led digital agency? We’re seeking an experience paid media expert with a deep interest in AI to help lead a team, business strategy and he hands-on when required.

Candidates will ideally have agency experience, indie agency experience a bonus.

This independently owned growth business is scaling fast, doubling revenue and headcount year-on-year whilst helping some of the most ambitious D2C brands unlock smarter performance through data, creativity, and tech.

Powered by proprietary attribution tech, they help brands understand what drives performance, then build around it, fusing paid media, influencer, CRM, and CRO for scalable results.

The Role: Lead. Shape. Scale.

As Head of Paid Media, you’ll report to the MD and work closely with the founder to lead a team spanning paid social, PPC, and influencer. This is a hybrid role combining strategy, leadership, and hands-on capability.

You’ll:

• Own and evolve the paid media proposition across performance and brand
• Lead planning and execution across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and more
• Mentor and manage a talented team (including Heads of Social & PPC)
• Understand the role of paid influencer & whitelisting
• Turn data from their proprietary tech into smart, high-performing media plans
• Play a key role in shaping agency direction and innovation
• Explore how AI and emerging tech can enhance—not replace—great media thinking

What You Bring

• 10+ years’ experience across social and search in agency or high-growth environments
• Proven leadership of high-performing paid media teams
• Strategic mindset and the ability to zoom in on hands-on delivery when needed
• Passion for innovation, tech, and how to apply AI practically
• Strong commercial instincts and client leadership experience
