Global Strategy Director – Media Agency (maternity cover)
Mid-sized innovative media agency requires a Global Strategy Director to work across a global brand account within the retail, kids and entertainment vertical.
Experience working with similar big-name global clients across FMCG, retail, entertainment is required, alongside global strategy / communications planning experience.
Salary to £95,000 + benefits, based Central London.
Please note this is an initial 12-month maternity cover contract (FTC).
Role Summary
This role will vary; on the one part, it will involve high level thought piece / trend pieces, running future facing workshops for clients etc. The other (and probably larger part of the role is answering briefs) and channel recommendations. Consequently, the agency would love a strategist who had previously planning experience, or a strong planner looking to step into a strategy role.
Experience Required
• Extensive experience in strategy or communications planning role in media communications discipline
• Ability to think differently: creative & adaptive, entrepreneurial, independently-minded; deeply immersed in cultural understanding and driven by a desire to know more the world / to better understand people’s motivations & behaviors in the shifting landscape
