Planning Director – Media Agency (mat cover)
Planning Director (mat cover) role at a top London media agency.
You’ll be responsible for multi-channel planning, with a strong digital focus.
The role is across a well-known banking client across both brand and performance.
Salary is c£65,000 and to start asap. Hybrid working options 2 / 3 days in the Central London office per week.
Role Summary
- This role is working on an exciting finance brand, working across a huge variety of briefs that touch all media channels and across both brand and performance campaigns.
- This role will give you the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of media channels, you will work on briefs that span all media but with a heavy focus on digital channels and digital plays an important role in all plans.
- Briefs are varied – in the same week you could be working on a brief for targeting millionaires, a brief targeting Start Ups or looking at the best ways to optimize Always on Activity for all products in your portfolio.
- Being a brilliant team leader is vital for this role as this role is heavily focused on day to day team management and growing and developing the team for the long term.
Experience Required
- Experience in integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline (digital, content)
- Up-to-date knowledge of the digital landscape (performance, addressable, SEO etc)
- Experience leading, managing and motivating a team
- Category or audience experience as relevant per assignment
- Ability to lead strategic thinking for integrated marketing communication plans encompassing traditional and non-traditional media strategies
- Ability to ensure consistency and best practices across all projects; strong project management skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and leadership skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain high level professional relationships with senior clients, colleagues and vendors
