Are you an Amazon eCommerce expert looking for the next step up?

 

We’re hiring for a leading international media agency to work across a key FMCG client within the beauty sector.

 

You’ll lead on Amazon (AMS) strategy across several EU markets, be the main client POC and lead a team of 5.

 

Salary c£70,000. 3 days per week in the London office.

 

The role

As the eCommerce Director, you’ll lead a team responsible for performance and strategic implementation across Amazon in Europe. This pivotal role involves overseeing a team of 5-6 members and reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce.

 

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with local agency teams to craft innovative platform campaigns on Amazon, utilizing various advertising channels to boost brand visibility and increase sales. With a blend of strategy and hands-on activation work, you’ll ensure the delivery of day-to-day Amazon Advertising activities, striving towards performance targets and adhering to best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deep understanding and passion for Amazon’s Advertising ecosystem
  • Identification of growth opportunities within Amazon and development of strategic plans
  • Collaboration with other agency teams to align Amazon media strategies with broader brand objectives
  • Proficient analysis of data sources to derive key insights and KPIs
  • Assistance in planning retail media budgets and campaigns to achieve client objectives
  • Effective communication with clients and internal teams, delivering eCommerce analysis and insights
  • Management of the eCommerce team, ensuring high-quality output and mentorship opportunities

 

Skills/Technical Capabilities:

 

  • Strong eCommerce background, including experience in paid search and DSP activation
  • Proven ability to implement multi-channel media strategies, optimizing sales across various platforms
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in performance analysis and reporting

 

 

About You:

 

  • Previous experience in eCommerce activation, preferably with platforms like Criteo and CitrusAD
  • Demonstrated expertise in paid search, DSP activation, and team management
  • Strong negotiation skills and a knack for performance reporting
  • Ambitious and passionate about eCommerce, with a deep understanding of its mechanics
