Analytics Director – Digital Marketing Agency
Analytics Director role at an independent global digital marketing agency.
You will work closely with clients across analytics strategy and help to grow the department alongside the Head of Analytics.
Expert knowledge of the Google stack (GA, GTM etc) is required for the role.
Clients will be across the travel / tourism, FMCG and luxury sectors.
Salary to £75,000 + benefits. Hybrid working offered with 2 days in the office per week.
Role Summary
- This role sits within the Data Strategy & Analytics sub-team within the agency’s growing and increasingly integral D&A department – focused on delivering best-in-class Marketing Science
- The role is client-facing and will involve workstreams that covers four areas of D&A (Strategy, Implementation, BI, and Data Science) as well as mentoring/management of junior members of the team as the department grows
- You’ll play a key part in identifying strategic opportunities through analysis of clients’ programmes of work
- Utilising GA and Google Tag Manager technical expertise – review, evaluate and optimise technical implementation of tracking code and account configuration
- Developing creative data strategies – develop solutions to answer business questions utilising technically advanced/complex and new GA features where relevant
- Enhancing the existing advanced analytics modelling, methodologies, and contribute to new ideas in modelling and report visualisation

- Help deliver best in class analytical capabilities across the agency with the wider Analytics team, including the use of new methods, techniques, tools and systems
- Build a deep understanding of marketing plans to help account teams build comprehensive measurement and test & learn plans
- Play an instrumental role in evolving and designing new, innovative measurement tools
- Oversee junior members of the team in the delivery of their responsibilities, ensuring quality and that deadlines are met
